It’s the End of The World as We Know It

Happy New Year everyone! What better way to kick off the new year than with a new e-book? Our friend M.D. Creekmore over at The Survivalist Blog has released his first (hopefully of many) e-book. This one is titled, “It’s the End of the World as we Know It (And I Feel Fine).” I’ve read through the majority of this e-book and it’s a great resource, full of important preparedness information. Best of all Creekmore is releasing this e-book FREE!

You can head over to his website and download the e-book here. Make sure you tell him thanks!

For those that haven't read this book yet- DON'T!!

It has blatantly false information in it, information that could literally kill you. My impression is that the author just wrote stuff that he either just heard somewhere without bothering to check out for himself or he just put things in it that he thought sounded good.

He seems to give out a lot of information that is either old wive's tales or just what he came up with on his own without verifying first.

Here's a link to a more complete article on some of the flaws on this book:

Even just reading his blog, I can see where he gives out a lot of advice that may sound good, but is really rather worthless. Just as a silly little example, he says to leave the oven door open after you shut it off so the heat can escape into the house. Where does he think the heat goes if you leave the door shut? It still goes into the house, just more slowly. With his suggestion, you're leaving a dangerously hot oven door hanging out into the kitchen where someone can get hurt and you're not getting any extra heat from it.

Seriously, though, there are multiple items in the book that are very dangerous.
